Quiet Woods Apartments for Rent(hide neighborhood information)
The City of Pensacola is one of two of Florida’s oldest cities. Located on the western Gulf Coast of the Florida panhandle, Pensacola is home to the University of West Florida. Quiet Woods is a residential community in the northern portion of the city. Less than ten miles from the Alabama border the neighborhood offers an excellent location close to all the shopping, dining, and recreation the city offers.
The Quiet Woods neighborhood consists of Kayzan Street, an east-west street off Bowman Avenue. Kayzan ends in a cul-de-sac, which reduces traffic in the community. Long, wide driveways provide off-street parking for homes on lots large enough for a pool. Mature trees to add privacy and shade create the southern border of the neighborhood. A sidewalk runs the full length of Kayzan and circles back, covering both sides of the street. Residents are in the 32534 zip code.
Residents can find shopping and dining virtually within walking distance. Bowman Avenue crosses Highway 90 one block north of the Quiet Woods community. Highway 90 is also West 9 Mile Road. The Lowe’s Shopping Center is located at the corner of Highway 90 and Fowler Avenue, two blocks east. The Nine Mile Square shopping Center is one block farther east at Untreiner Avenue.
Highway 90 intersects with Highway 29, Pensacola Boulevard, a little over a half mile east of the neighborhood. A Wal-Mart Super Center is just south of this intersection on Highway 29. County Road 297 is less than a half mile west on 9 Mile Road and intersects Interstate 10, a half mile south. For recreation, the Ashton Brosnaham Park is one mile to the northeast. Residents are within five to six miles of Escambia Bay. Golf enthusiasts will find Marcus Pointe Golf Course a little over three miles to the south.
