The medical provider for the area, Sacred Heart Hospital provides area residents with the region’s largest network of physicians, a 24-hour emergency center, the area’s only children’s hospital, the Sacred Heart Women’s Hospital, and a new comprehensive cancer center.

Pensacola Regional Airport is conveniently located east of Norwood, offering residents who travel frequently for business or pleasure an easy and quick airport commute. This public airport provides non-stop flights to Pensacola via airlines such as Delta Air Lines, AirTran Airways, Continental Express, and United Express, just to name a few.
