The large Northpointe neighborhood, located in the port city of Pensacola, Florida, sits between East Olive Road and I-10. The community has an established feel, with sidewalks and large shade trees providing the perfect backdrop for the upscale ranch homes. The community is bound along the north by East Pointe Drive and Regency Park, and along the west by Northpointe Boulevard. This Escambia County community occupies the 32514 zip code area.

Northpointe is also quite convenient to shopping, dining and entertainment. Both the Cordova and University Malls offer a good selection of national department stores and specialty shops, and both offer movie theaters and restaurants in the surrounding area.

The neighborhood’s proximity to I-10 offers residents easy access to the Scenic Highway, the marinas of north Escambia Bay and the vast watershed of its rivers. A half-dozen nearby parks provide dedicated areas for dog play, opportunities for quiet walks and playgrounds. A YMCA occupies Hitzman Optimist Park, featuring fitness facilities and classes.

Art lovers will enjoy the Pensacola Museum of Art’s educational programs. The Great Gulf Coast Art Festival is a regional favorite, bringing artists and art collectors to Seville Square each year.

A short drive takes residents to the Gulf Island National Seashore, which offers miles of unspoiled beaches and ranger-led programs for all ages. Those who want to explore a bit farther from shore will find numerous diving and deep-sea charters located along the Gulf.

College students may choose from several nearby institutions. The largest is the University of West Florida, offering both undergraduate and graduate degrees. Pensacola Junior College is located in the downtown district, and Pensacola State College is near Cordova Mall and Pensacola Regional Airport.
