North Central Pensacola Apartments for Rent

North Central Pensacola is an important commercial and residential neighborhood. West 9 Mile Road serves as its northern border, while West Michigan Avenue is its southern border. Both Interstate 10 and Pensacola Boulevard serve as partial western borders of the community. Its eastern border is comprised of several smaller, local roads. Its proximity to Interstate 10 easily connects residents and visitors to anywhere else in the greater Pensacola region.

The community is served by the County of Escambia Transit system. Being a busy area, bus stops are available. North Central Pensacola is one of the best neighborhoods for the public transit system in the area.

The Pensacola Regional Airport is only four miles southeast of the community. It hosts major airlines like United, yet it also has smaller services. Aviation Park, which draws visitors to the airport, has memorial columns that pay tribute to historically, culturally and socially significant figures.

Shopping is also plentiful in and near the neighborhood. University Mall is less than two miles southeast of the community. It hosts a movie theater as well as great local shops like a Sears and J.C. Penney. Cordova Mall, one of the most famous shopping havens in Pensacola, is only three and a half miles southeast of North Central Pensacola. It has such stores as Lane Bryant, Victoria’s Secret, and Dillard’s, among many delectable restaurants.

Cultural attractions are also important to many residents of the neighborhood. The Archaeology Museum is under four miles northeast of North Central Pensacola. The Renaissance Man, an important area sculpture museum, is only five miles to its south.
