Malibu Woods is a tiny, wooded neighborhood to the north of downtown Pensacola, Florida. It is a semi-rural community that consists of small to medium-sized ranch homes. A cul-de-sac dominates the center of Malibu Woods.

Schools near Malibu Woods include Ferry Pass Elementary School and Trinitas Christian School. Also not far away is the University of West Florida.

One of the fine restaurants in the area is the Tokyo Japanese Steak House. Here chefs will cook meals on hibachi grills right at the table – with a little bit of a flipping show built in for entertainment value. They also feature a sushi bar.

Pelican Park is the home of the Pensacola Pelicans which will be the Double-A Affiliate for the Cincinnati Reds starting the 2012 season.

Playa del Rio RV Resort and Yacht Club is located on Perdido Key. It offers power, water/sewage and cable TV hookups, boat slip rentals and laundry and restroom facilities. There’s a pier for fishing and crabbing and BBQ grills for grilling.

Perdido Key is home to a host of activities. First of all, there are the sugar-white sandy beaches. Then there are not one, but two zoos and three amusement parks. Golfers can play at the Lost Key Golf Club, and racing fans can bet on the Greyhounds at Pensacola Greyhound Racing. There are also museums, restaurants and nightclubs on the Key.

And speaking of sugar-white sandy beaches, Santa Rosa Island is the home of the Pensacola Beach.
