The Madison Place neighborhood is located within the city of Pensacola, Florida, on the far north side of the city. Madison Place lies just east of US Highway 29 and north of Highway 90, and lies roughly 10 miles, or 20 minutes by car, from the heart of the downtown area and just a few miles west of the Escambia Bay. Edith Place is the community’s only street, offering a single neighborhood access point on the east. This relatively new community is zoned for roughly 75 single-family homes, but currently only portions of the neighborhood are developed. While the homes are new, the lots here are quite small, and don’t at present offer a great deal of privacy. However, much of the surrounding area is open green space, which gives residents some room to roam and a sense of country living.

This community is convenient to many area attractions and amenities. For local shopping, a supermarket and Wal-Mart Supercenter are located within minutes of home, as are the Nine Mile Square retail center and Lowe’s Shopping Center. For family entertainment, a movie theater is also located close to home. For major retail therapy, residents may travel several miles south to the larger University Mall or Cordova Mall.

For outdoor recreation, Madison Place residents may head to the coast for some boating and fishing. Closer to home, recreation options include Ashton Brosnaham Park and Drummond Park, two mid-sized parks that are primarily devoted to athletic fields. The Scenic Hills Country Club is also situated within a few miles to the east.
