Lambert Court in Pensacola, Florida is a family neighborhood made up primarily of single-family, brick ranch homes that were built the late 60s and early 70s. The properties sit on fairly large lots and feature screened porches and patios that overlook fruit trees and indigenous plants, such as oaks, dogwoods, hawthorn trees, beeches, poplars, ferns and vines of blackberry. The setting is inviting for raccoons and squirrels, as well as birds such as towhees and warblers, both of which inhabit the area.
Residents like the fact that they are within walking and driving distance of nearby shops and eateries. The neighborhood is located south of the I-10 interstate system and west of the I-110 highway. It is bordered by North Palafox Street on the west, East Burgess Road on the north and Hancock Lane to the south, with I-110, as indicated, running adjacent to the neighborhood on its east side.

When showers threaten the community, residents like to shop at the Cordova Mall, which is located at 5100 North 9th Avenue in Pensacola. The mall is the largest shopping center in the area and boasts such stores as Parisian and Dillard’s, Ann Taylor, JoS. A. Bank, and American Eagle Outfitters. Needless to say, both new and long-time residents alike agree that the Lambert Court neighborhood is a good place to call home and raise a family.
