Keys Court Apartments for Rent(hide neighborhood information)
Key’s Court isn’t really a court. The community is divided across Ross Street, connecting to West Jackson Street near downtown Pensacola. This eclectic collection of homes dates back to the 1940s. Some are small, single-story bungalows, while others are almost mini-mansions sitting at the end of long, tree-shaded driveways. The divided thoroughfare, filled with trees within the median, does see some through traffic. Ross Street extends south from the neighborhood, and is the only way to get to Idlewood Drive and another nearby community near Bayou Chico, a waterway that drains into Pensacola Bay.
Both Oaksville Elementary and Browns Middle School lie to the north, and Escambia High is within a mile west. Pensacola Catholic High is a bit closer.
West Jackson Street has its share of commercial areas, but most shops and restaurants are a few blocks north on Route 90. This highway leads east through the center of downtown Pensacola, and then hugs the coast of Pensacola Bay. Along the way, near the Pensacola Regional Airport, the Scenic Highway passes near 16-acre Lavellet Park, which offers paved walking pathways and picnic spots. Another nearby attraction is Chimney Park, a registered historic site. Next to the airport are Pensacola State College, the Cordova Mall and the Sacred Heart Health Center Hospital.
Following Route 90 east leads to the Osceola Municipal Golf Course and a local fishing spot, Crescent Lake. Shopping malls close to Key’s Court include the Blue Moon Antique Mall, Corry Field Shopping Mart and the Warrington Village Shopping Center. The neighborhood is only two miles south of the Mixon Antique Mall and Flea Market.
