Hillside is a subdivision near Macky Bay on the north side of Pensacola in Escambia County. The neighborhood is a 15-minute drive from central Pensacola and can be accessed by Denton Road off North Davis Highway.

The community is close to shopping and amenities along Davis Highway and the University of West Florida. There is no through traffic, and the homes are large with spacious lots.

Public education is provided by the Escambia County School District. The closest schools are Blessed Star Christian Montessori School, Pensacola Junior Academy–a private school offering kindergarten through grade 8–and Ferry Pass Middle School, a public school for grade 6 through 8. In addition to the nearby University of West Florida, college students can attend Pensacola State College or Pensacola Christian College.

The closest library is the Tryon Branch Library on Langley Avenue, and medical and emergency services are available at the West Florida Hospital just down Davis Highway.
