Residents find plenty of entertainment and attractions in the surrounding area. The Pensacola Civic Center features regional sports events and concerts by nationally-known performing artists. Updated in the last decade, the facility includes an ice rink and hosts hockey and skating events.
Other points of interest in the Pensacola area include the Pensacola Little Theatre, which holds performances for children and adults; Farmer’s Opry House, which is a venue for gospel, bluegrass, and country music and offers a campground; and the Seville Quarter, a nightlife hub in the historic section downtown, which features themed rooms such as dueling pianos and an oyster bar.
