The area’s medical provider, Sacred Heart Hospital, is located at the intersection of North 9th Avenue and Bayou Boulevard, near Cordova Mall. Sacred Heart Hospital provides area residents with the assurance of knowing that the regions largest network of physicians is housed here, as well as a 24-hour emergency center, the area’s only children’s hospital, the Sacred Heart Women’s Hospital and a new comprehensive cancer center.

The close proximity of the Grove neighborhood to Highway 291, Highway 750 and I-110 provides residents with plenty of nearby shopping, dining and entertainment options. Some stores located very near the community include Petsmart, Sam’s Club, Barnes & Noble, Home Place Furniture, Jo-Ann Fabrics and TJ Maxx. Pensacola Square is located at the intersection of Highway 291 and Langley Avenue providing residents with even more retail and dining choices such as Office Max, Hobby Lobby and O’Charley’s. University Mall lies to the north and Cordova Mall, one of Pensacola’s most upscale malls, lies to the south offering department and specialty store shopping options.
