Memphis Avenue runs through the neighborhood, situated near Route 90 and West Michigan Avenue. Grenetree is a 15-minute drive from central Pensacola, and a one-half hour drive from Pensacola Beach.

The neighborhood lies next to the Marcus Pointe Golf Course, an 18-hole course designed by Earl Stone. Shopping is available nearby at the Bellvue Shopping Center, which offers grocery stores, a pharmacy and fast food.

Residents of Grenetree will find plenty to do in the surrounding area. Rave Motion Pictures is just a few miles away, as is the Tryon Branch Library. The Pensacola Interstate Fair is held at the fairgrounds in nearby Bellvue every October. The Pensacola Beach lies just a short drive away, offering swimming, surfing and a boardwalk with shops, restaurants and nightlife.

Major attractions and points of interest include the Fort Pickens National Park, Old Christ Church in the Pensacola Historic District, the North Hill Preservation District and the Veteran’s Memorial Park and Wall, which can be found bayside in downtown Pensacola.
