El Cerrito Place Apartments for Rent
El Cerrito Place lies on the northeast outskirts of the port city of Pensacola, Florida. A part of Escambia County, this sunny Florida neighborhood lies in the 32503 zip code.
El Cerrito Place is a cul-de-sac off Tanglewood Drive. The neighborhood lies south of Tennyson Place and north of the intersection of Tanglewood Drive and Woodbine Drive. The western end of the small cul-de-sac borders the northern waters of Bayou Texar. Homes rest on very spacious lots, surrounded by mature trees for shade and privacy. Boats can be docked along the bayou’s banks. Residents can enjoy fishing from their own backyards.
Baars Park offers El Cerrito residents a large recreational area only minutes to the north. The park is heavily wooded and also borders the bayou. Dunwoody Park is close to home, offering visitors a ball field and playground areas. Bayou Boulevard, or Route 296, lies four blocks from El Cerrito Place. This is the major north-south route for travel in this part of Pensacola.
The Cordova Park Elementary School sits halfway between Dunwoody Park and Pintado Park. Pensacola State College, Washington High School and J. H. Workman Middle School are only a few minutes away from the community.
The Cordova Mall is located at the intersection of Route 289 and 296. The mall includes a Dillard’s, Red Lobster and Ross. A Target is also across the street.
North 12th Street offers the closest bridge by which residents can cross the bayou. A secondary access point is two miles south on El Cervantes Street, or Highway 90, which also bridges the bayou. Highway 90, however, does provide direct access into the main portion of the city.
