This is the major north-south route for travel in this part of Pensacola.

The Cordova Mall is located at the intersection of Route 289 and 296. The mall includes a Dillard’s, Red Lobster and Ross. A Target is also across the street.

North 12th Street offers the closest bridge by which residents can cross the bayou. A secondary access point is two miles south on El Cervantes Street, or Highway 90, which also bridges the bayou. Highway 90, however, does provide direct access into the main portion of the city.
