This neighborhood is a quiet residential area of small, single-family, detached homes. The lawns are fairly flat with some trees. This neighborhood is located north of downtown Pensacola. Florida Route 95 to I-10 which meets the I-110 is the easy route into the city or straight on route 95 for the off highway option.

There is a K-Mart and an Applebee’s just to the west of the neighborhood on East 9 Mile Road. In addition, there is a CVS Pharmacy, Pizza Hut, UPS Store, Home Depot and Lowes all in the same general area. To the east of Drummond Park there is a Kohl’s, a Target, a Starbucks Coffee, a Waffle House, and a Sonic Drive-In.

The John R. Jones Sports Complex has 12 baseball fields, a football field, four softball fields, and lots of open space. There is also a playground and a picnic area. Drummond Park is part of this complex.

Ashton Brosnahan Park has 10 soccer fields and four softball fields. At over 100 acres, it is also a great place to go for a picnic. For dog owners, there is a dog park which is fully fenced and has benches for owners to sit and relax while their dogs enjoy off-leash play.
