The community is centrally located to several golf courses. One of the largest golf courses is the Marcus Pointe Golf Club. This golf course is open to the public and is well maintained. Marcus Pointe offers 18 holes of challenging golf to a golfer of any skill level. There is a small clubhouse with a modest-sized pro shop on the premises. There is also a small grill to order small-ticket items. The other golf courses in the vicinity of the Brentwood Park neighbor are Osceola Municipal and Green Meadows Par 3. Osceola is an 18-hole golf club, while Green Meadows has nine holes of executive par-3 golf. All three of these golf courses are extremely popular with the residents of Brentwood Park.

There are a couple of parks within walking distance of the community. The first of these is Oak Park, a small city park that has a few amenities for residents and guests. Oak Park has benches, picnic tables, playground equipment, and a baseball diamond. The second park near the neighborhood is the Brent Athletic Park. This park has ball fields for soccer, baseball, and softball. Visitors to the park will also find an indoor tennis court and a running track.
