Baywalk is a community of large executive homes off Scenic Highway in Pensacola. This neighborhood is one street ending in a cul-de-sac, so traffic is local. Large trees and lush landscaping surround the homes. Scenic Highway winds its way along the coast of Escambia Bay and has a small bike path for biking enthusiasts.

Pelican Baseball Park is home to the local minor league baseball team and is north of the community. Residents of Baywalk have two indoor malls from which to choose. The University Square Mall southwest of the community is a shorter drive and offers residents a selection of stores. The Cordova Mall has a larger selection of stores. In addition, free-standing retailers and hotels surround the Cordova Mall on North 9th Avenue. That area also has also many restaurants and a movie theater.

Golfers can join the Scenic Hills Country Club, which is north of the community. The club offers a variety of golf and social memberships, with events throughout the year.
