It is common to find recreational boaters as well as anglers out enjoying the lake all year around. This body of water is also frequently used for kayaking, canoeing, and even paddle rafting. The lake is, however, known to have alligators, so it isn't normally used for any kind of swimming activity, although it is quite scenic and provides quick recreation for area residents.
