The Villas at Moore Farm is a small, undeveloped, planned neighborhood community located to the west of the downtown Huntsville area. Just a few miles from the University of Alabama at Huntsville, the Villas at Moore Farm is surrounded by attractions for those of all ages. It is near several large shopping malls and is an ideal place for those interested in a small neighborhood community that is near several retail stores and restaurants.

Though largely undeveloped, the houses constructed in this area are large, national and shingle-style houses made of red brick and white stone. As a semi-private community in the 35806 zip code, it is bordered to the south by Moore Farm Lane NW which intersects with the western border, Mainline Way NW. Also, McMurtle Drive NW makes up the eastern boundary, and an imaginary line following south of West Park Loop NW completes the rectangular border of the Villas at Moore Farm.

The neighborhood is made up of one large loop behind Westside Center. This large shopping center is built on University Drive NW, one of Huntsville’s major thoroughfares giving those who live at the Villas easy access to different parts of the city. Westside Center is a large retail center with a Lane Bryant, Target, Steinmart, Men’s Warehouse, and other clothing retailers. It is also home to a Five Guys Burgers and Fries, IHOP, and Jason’s Deli.

Other restaurants in the area include Phil Sandoval’s Mexican Restaurant, Tokyo Japanese Steakhouse and O’Charley’s. Down the street, Madison Square Mall Shopping Center is a few miles to the east of Westside Center near the University of Alabama at Huntsville. There are dozens of bars, restaurants, and attractions for the young and young at heart in this area of town.
