The company’s dramatic new facility is located here, conveniently located to other research sites, namely Cummings Research Park and the University of Alabama in Huntsville. An undeveloped parcel of land lies immediately west of Dynetics. Close by is Redstone Army Airfield, Redstone Arsenal, and Marshall Space Center.

Huntsville Municipal Golf Course is a fine public course located nearby, just southeast of Dynetics. Another public course is Jetport Municipal Golf Course, which lies south, a bit west of the Redstone Arsenal.

The Huntsville Art Museum is often named one of the Top Ten Destinations in Alabama. The nationally accredited museum features quality exhibits and provides classes for all ages. The Children’s Gallery displays art from local school children. Huntsville also has a symphony and active theater.

The City of Huntsville maintains more than 60 parks and 3 indoor aquatic facilities. Close to the Dynetics neighborhood, Hays Nature Preserve has 10 miles of trails for hiking and mountain biking. Certain trails here are also suitable for horseback riding.
