Craven Neighborhood

The Craven neighborhood is located in the Jacksonville, Florida area at the intersection of Craven Road and Sunbeam Road. The residents of Craven are just a short drive from the Gulf of Mexico. The Tivoli apartment complex is in this area as well as the United States Post Office.

Many of the homes in the quiet Craven neighborhood are on cul-de-sacs and have in-ground pools in their backyards. The neighborhood was built in 1990 and home owner’s association fees are $17 per month. The Craven homes are on private tree-lined lots and the homes generally have attached two-car garages. In addition to single-family homes, there are townhomes in Craven in the subdivision of Edgewater at Sunbeam. These townhomes were built in 2005.

Downtown Jacksonville creates a stunning skyline to the greater Jacksonville area. The natural beauty of the Jacksonville area is unforgettable.

The wide open, white sandy beaches of Jacksonville are highly valued by locals. This area has something for everyone. Enjoy nature tours, golf outings, shopping, restaurants and more. Jacksonville has boutique stores and antique shops but also outlet stores and malls.

Many cruises launch from Jacksonville and local residents can take advantage of resident discounts. If you are looking for a romantic evening with fine dining you are in luck. If you decide to partake in the active nightlife you can do so without leaving the same area.

There are 1,220 holes of golf in Jacksonville alone, in 70 private and public golf courses. Jacksonville is also known for its fishing, boating, bird watching and museums. Visitors and locals alike get away to the popular bed & breakfasts in the area. Visitors enjoy experiencing the Southern hospitality of the Jacksonville locals. Although, not commonly known, there is a large river that runs through Jacksonville called the St. John’s River.
