Conveniently located between Milwaukee to the north and Chicago to the south, Kenosha provides residents with great opportunities. In fact, nearly half of Kenosha residents commute to work. But Kenosha is a thriving city on its own accord, with several high-tech companies located within the city limits. It is also a college town, home to the University of Wisconsin-Parkside, Carthage College, and Gateway Technical College.

Before Kenosha became one of the country’s top high-tech economies, it was a manufacturing hub. One important product was beer. In 1847, Conrad Muntzenberger decided to open a brewery. It flourished, and soon he was producing 65 barrels a day. Today, beer is still made in Kenosha, which is home to several microbreweries. The Muntzenberger Brewfest is a popular Kenosha event that includes beer sampling and food vendors.

Situated along Lake Michigan, Kenosha features beautiful parks and beaches. Rent a Kenosha apartment and enjoy summers of swimming and sunbathing at beautiful lakeside beaches, such as Simmons Island Park, Eichelman Beach, and Southport Park. Golfers will appreciate the Kenosha Municipal golf Course, while bikers will enjoy riding along the Pike Bike Trail, which links Milwaukee and Chicago.
