Seattle at a Glance
Central Seattle Neighborhood
The central district of Seattle, Washington, is an interesting blend of residences and businesses. The neighborhood is easy to get to, with access to both Interstate 5 and Interstate 90. To the east lies Lake Washington, which is the second largest lake in the state.
The scenic lake can be used for fishing, boating, and rowing activities for the people of the community.
Seattle University is a landmark that is reached easily via East Madison Street, East Cherry Street, Broadway, and 12th Avenue. Next to the university, the Swedish Medical Center is found, known for being helpful and convenient.
Farther to the west is the Frye Art Museum. To the east is Garfield High School, a matter of blocks from Powell Barnett Park. Other parks are also available to the neighborhood, including East Pike Street City Park, Madrona Playground, and Madrona Park. On the west side of Madrona Park is Lake Washington Boulevard, which borders the lake. Frink Park is located roughly south of Madrona Park and east of Edwin T. Pratt Park.
Seattle Central Community College is located north of the university and very near Cat Anderson Park. Many of these parks are large and community oriented.
The Central Seattle district is also not far from Qwest Field, the home of the Seattle Seahawks professional football team. The field is just to the southwest, and it features an open football stadium, one of the few used by NFL teams.
Seattle Central Library is located almost due north from Qwest, which makes it convenient for the neighborhood.
Saint James Cathedral is located roughly between the library and the Frye Art Museum, and south of the Central Business District. Numerous churches and restaurants dot the area, including a Chinese restaurant near Capitol Hill that has almost a shrine to commemorate the late Bruce Lee.
Central Seattle is filled with diversity in its residents, its landscape, and its businesses.

About Our Deals
Apartment Finder utilizes the industry's largest and most complete database of real-time rents and availabilities to help you find an amazing deal on your next rental.
Price Drop
Apartment communities change their rental rates often - sometimes multiple times a day. We track the changes and keep you up to date when a rental rate decreases.
Best Value
"Best value" units are located in buildings rated three stars or higher. We label apartment rentals that are priced significantly less than similar high-quality units nearby.
Rent Specials
Apartment communities regularly advertise deals for new residents. Whether it's a move-in special or a free tv, we locate the rentals that offer a little something extra when you sign your lease.
Note: Based on community-supplied data and independent market research. Subject to change without notice.
