Irwin J. Lambka Park is a center point of this neighborhood. Sports are very popular here, with a majority of the Southwest Baseball League games and practices held in this park. Across the street from KFOX-TV, the Coronado Shopping Center offers convenience for locals who love to shop. Less than two miles from here, Interstate 10 makes it easy to access.
Coronado High School, home of the T-Birds, is also in Lambka Park.
