Gilchrist Avenue is the southeastern border, and its continuing parallel continues so the northeastern border encompasses Sanctuary Court to Rose Circle.

Farm to Market Road 60, to the northwest, is spattered with commercial establishments. Several hotels line the street. Visitors can choose from Econo Lodge, Residence Inn and Suites, or the Hilton, which is connected to the Hilton College Station Conference Center. Restaurants in this area range from coffee bistros like It’s A Grind to sit-down restaurants like Red Lobster. College favorites like Buffalo Wild Wings are plentiful.

To the east of College Hills Woodlands, Post Oak Mall is packed with commercial establishments including Toys R Us, Dillard’s and The Puppy Store. There are dozens of restaurants from Shiraz Shish Kabob to Gumby’s Pizza and Souper Salads. Shopping opportunities also include specialty stores offering household needs such as furniture and bedding, video rentals stores, and bakery items.
