Carters Grove Apartments for Rent

Carter’s Grove subdivision is located west of Highway 6 in College Station, in east central Texas. The homes in this neighborhood have lots of character and were built between 1938 and 1993. The neighborhood boasts walking trials, several parks, a community pool, and tennis courts. It is also home to the many sorority and fraternity houses of Texas A&M University.

Post Oak Mall on Harvey Road is the main shopping mall in the College Station/Bryan area, and is a stone’s throw from Carter’s Grove. There are many stores and restaurants along Harvey Road as well. Grand Station Entertainment on Earl Rudder Freeway provides amusement for the whole family, with its bowling lanes, laser tag, and video arcade, among other activities.

Carter’s Grove is part of the College Station Independent School District, which offers elementary, middle, and high schools in the area. There are some private schools and learning centers in the area as well. Higher education is taken care of by nationally acclaimed Texas A&M University, which has sports facilities, including a golf course, that are open to the public.

Sports fans can catch a game of their favorite sport at many venues in College Station. These include Aggie Soccer Stadium, Kyle stadium — home of the Aggies college football team — and the Reed Arena, also a venue for concerts. Residents can also play sports themselves at one of the many public parks scattered throughout the area.

In Carter’s Grove, public transportation is provided by The District, the Texas A&M Transportation Services (for students, faculty, and staff of the university), and Groundshuttle, whose daily shuttles connect College Station with both Houston airports.
