South Manchaca is a neighborhood in Austin, Texas. The neighborhood is located south of US Highway 290, north of Stassney Lane, west of 1st Street, and east of Manchaca Road. Most of the homes in the area were built between 1950-1980, with some homes built as early as the 1930s. The zip code is 78745.

The campus has many different degree programs focused on a variety of specializations. The school also has athletic programs that entertain many residents.
Most of the shopping and dining can be found along US Highway 290. Along this stretch, there are numerous major stores and restaurants. The closest pocket can be found to the northwest just past Manchanca Road. This is where Target is located, as well as a Regal Cinemas movie theater. The area also has a substantial number of restaurants that are popular with area residents. The restaurants provide quite a variety of flavors and many major brand names.
