St Johns - Coronado Hills is a neighborhood in Austin, Texas. It is located in the triangle created by the intersections of Interstate 35, US Highway 183, and US Highway 290. Homes in the area are somewhat older but still relatively modern. The neighborhood is known for being created in perfect sections with straight roads and tree lined streets.
Across Interstate 35 from the neighborhood is Highland Mall, one of the biggest shopping destinations in the region. Many of the stores in the mall are major name brands as well as some local and regional brands. The stores provide an incredible assortment of goods and services to meet the needs of the many visitors.
The Highland Mall is also the best place for dining for St Johns - Coronado Hills residents. It is close to the neighborhood, making it a great place to go for a wide variety of different food options. Many of the restaurants are big names and the offerings represent different styles of cuisine from around the world.
For recreation, many make the 1-2 mile drive to the southwest where the UT Intramural Fields are located off of 51st Street. This area is home to sixteen soccer fields and forty tennis courts. The incredible number of fields and courts makes the UT Intramural Fields an ideal location for practicing your sport. Many leagues come to the area to take advantage of the offerings. It is also common to find players out practicing their individual skills or working with trainers to further develop their abilities. The area is well lit providing extended hours of entertainment and fitness.
