RMMA or Robert Mueller Municipal Airport is a neighborhood in Austin, Texas. The neighborhood is located to the south of 51st Street, east of Interstate 35, north of Airport Boulevard and west of Manor Road. Most of the neighborhood area is consumed by the Robert Mueller Municipal Airport, however there are many homes as well. Most of the homes were built between 1960 and 1970. The zip code is 78723. The airport along the border has been closed since 1999 when it was relocated.

Residents of the Robert Mueller community have much larger families than the rest of the Austin area with an average family size of 3.8 as compared to only 2.4 people throughout the rest of Austin. Nearly half of all households have at least one child. Robert Mueller is known for being a younger neighborhood with most of the adults being 18-30 years of age.

In the middle of the residential side of Robert Mueller is a well maintained park. Ella Wooten Park provides excellent recreation opportunities for the numerous families in the area. The park itself is somewhat small but has great amenities including a basketball court, large playground, lap swimming pool and kid’s swimming pool. The park also has a large field that is used for anything from soccer, to football, to rugby and more.

South of RMMA is the Morris Williams Municipal Golf Course. The course itself provides residents throughout the area with an excellent golfing experience on the well-maintained course. The course also has a small professional shop.

Throughout RMMA there are numerous trails and paths, especially to the south. These paths provide several miles of paved exercise space for walkers, runners, skaters and cyclists.
