Welch Bend Apartments for Rent

The neighborhood of Welch Bend is a narrow belt of one and two-story medium-sized homes on two north-south running streets. It is located to the southeast of downtown Nashville, Tennessee. Most of the many trees in Welch Bend are in the backyards rather than lining the streets. The neighborhood is convenient to Interstate 24 and is fairly close to Nashville International Airport.

There are two major apartment complexes bordering Welch Bend to the east – Foxcroft Apartments to the north, and the huge Welch Bend Apartment complex just to the south. Schools nearby include Croft Middle School, Paragon Mills Elementary School, and Haywood Elementary School.

Las Cazuelas Mexican Grill, Mikado Japanese Steakhouse, and Abay Ethiopian Restaurant are among the fine places to eat in the area. There are several places to watch a movie in the nearby area; they include Belcourt Theatre, Regal Hollywood 27, and Carmike Hickory 8.

The Tennessee Performing Arts Center (TPAC) in downtown Nashville has four different live entertainment venues: Andrew Jackson Hall, James K. Polk Theatre, Andrew Johnson Theatre and War Memorial Auditorium. The complex is the place to go for Broadway shows, opera, ballet, comedy and concerts. Just across the Cumberland River to the east of downtown is L P Field, the home of the NFL Tennessee Titans.

A few miles to the north of Welch Bend is the Hermitage – the home of President Andrew Jackson. The mansion itself is now a museum and the grounds still contain the original log kitchen from the first home, as well as many other buildings and sites to explore.
