Valley Green is a neighborhood in southeastern Nashville, Texas, near the city of Antioch. This community is roughly 13 miles from the downtown area, which translates to about a 19 minute drive. Valley Green is part of Davidson County, within the 37013 zip code area.

This residential neighborhood consists of several streets north of Bell Road/Highway 254 and west of Interstate 24. The residences here are mostly single-family homes on well-shaded lots. There aren’t a great deal of commercial offerings in the immediate area, but the nearby major roadways like Bell Road and I-24 offer their fair share of dining, shopping, and entertainment options.

For outdoor recreation, residents of Valley Green are within walking distance of William A. Pitts Park. This small community park doesn’t offer a great many amenities, but it does feature a baseball/softball field, a playground, and an open green space for picnicking or games.

For shopping close to home, Valley Green residents can head in either direction along the nearby Bell Road. To the west is the Hickory Plaza Shopping Center, and to the east is the Hickory Hollow retail area. The latter features at least three major retail areas, including the Hickory Hollow Mall. This indoor complex is one of the older enclosed shopping areas in the city, and it is anchored by a Macy’s and Sears. It also offers a food court and a movie theater.

Other attractions within a five mile radius of Valley Green include the Southern Hills Medical Center, the Nashville Zoo, the Ellington Agricultural Center, and the Nashville International Airport.
