Situated on the far southeast side of Nashville, Tennessee, roughly 13.5 miles from the center of the city, is the Harbour Town neighborhood. Near the banks of the J. Percy Priest Reservoir, this community is bounded by Smith Springs Road on the north and bisected by Anderson Road from north to south. Area communities include Camdon Court, Watercrest Townhomes, and Starboard. The zip code for this Davidson County community is 37217.

The Harbour Town community is devoted primarily to apartment living, bordered by a wooded area and several commercial offerings on the north, including a supermarket and pharmacy. Amenities within neighborhood bounds include several tennis courts and a community swimming pool.

One of the most significant attractions in the area is the large reservoir, which is surrounded by various parks, recreation areas, and public use areas. One of the most popular destinations for outdoor recreation on the reservoir is the Long Hunter State Park. Residents come here to boat, fish, swim, hike, backpack, picnic, and observe wildlife. Educational programs are also offered here.

Another attraction just minutes from the Harbour Town neighborhood is the Nashville International Airport, situated a few miles west, easily accessible via nearby Highway 1/41/70S. Proximity to the airport makes this an ideal community for frequent travelers, whether for business or pleasure.

For local shopping, the nearby highways offer several popular restaurants and retailers within a short drive of Harbour Town, as well as the Nashboro Village retail center and the Priest Lake Plaza Shopping Center.

Additional cultural attractions, higher education options, entertainment, and nightlife can be found closer to downtown Nashville, which is roughly a 20-minute drive to the northwest. Among the major attractions here are the Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum, Vanderbilt University, and the state capitol building.
