Corrine Place is a neighborhood located in Nashville, Tennessee. It is part of Davidson County. It is roughly bordered on the west side by Craigshead Street. On the east is Nolansville Pike. Seminole Avenue makes up the south western border and the southern border is formed by Rosedale Avenue. The area incorporates Dunn Avenue, Napoleon Avenue, Utopia Avenue, Gladstone Avenue and Edison Street.
The community has residential homes as well as many businesses and commercial properties. Businesses in the area include Top Shelf Granite, Battleground Army Surplus, Tennessee Clutch and Supply and the Ramadan International Market.
Cumberland Park and the Nashville Fairgrounds Speedway are located just west of the Corrine Place neighborhood. The Speedway held its very first race on July 19, 1958. World renowned racers have raced on the Speeway, including Bobby Allison, Sterling Marlin, Mike Alexander, Darrell Waltrip, Bill Elliott and the late Dale Earnhardt, Sr. It has changed owners many times over the years and is still trying to regain the fame it achieved in past years. One season, they hosted the NASCAR Busch Series and Truck Series event but had to drop it due to the high cost.
The Tennessee State Fairgrounds are located west of the neighborhood. The 117 acre fairgrounds host numerous events annually, including the State Fair, the monthly Flea Market, the Nashville Fishing and Boat Show, Auto Swap Meets, Antique Shows and Guns and Knife shows.
Schools in the area include Glencliff Elementary School, Croft Middle School, and Glencliff Comp High School.
