The Bianca Square neighborhood is composed of multiple complexes of apartments, with large shade trees on immaculately landscaped grounds. Across Stewarts Ferry Pike, the boundary road of Bianca Square, is a large medical facility campus, with acres of rolling hills and large trees, creating a park-like neighborhood. Bianca Square is northwest of I-40 in zip code 37214.

One of Nashville’s great treasures – the Greenway Trail – can be accessed nearby, along the west side of Middle Tennessee Mental Health Institute. Accessing the trail here allows hikers to go for miles, as far as Percy Priest Reservoir, for example.

A number of retail areas serve the Bianca Square neighborhood. North, along Lebanon Pike, are several value stores, including Target, Kohl’s and Big Lots. A Wal-Mart Supercenter is a bit farther north.

A mile or so east is a large grocery store – Food Lion – near the intersection of I-40 and Stewarts Ferry Pike. There are several casual dining and fast-food restaurants here, too, which is perfect for picking up a quick meal to enjoy on the nearby shores of Percy Priest Reservoir.

In the Bianca Square neighborhood are two educational institutions, Argosy University and The Art Institute of Tennessee-Nashville. However, Nashville has a number of colleges and universities. While Vanderbilt and Peabody may be the most well known, Belmont University is also a noteworthy school, especially for anyone who wants to study the business side of the entertainment industry.

A number of interesting parks and historic sites are nearby. About five miles away is one of the first permanent homes on the Tennessee frontier, Rock Castle. A popular place for weddings and other gatherings, it is the scene of a two-day festival – Daniel Smith Colonial Days, which celebrates Revolutionary days with music, crafts, and reenactments.
