The Apache Hills neighborhood, located in Davidson County, is an older residential community with single-level frame homes on treed lots. The neighborhood is near Interstate 24 to the east and Packard Drive to the north that connects to Apache Trail and access to I-24. The neighborhood also has access to public transportation.

Residents in the Apache Hills neighborhood are conveniently located near recreational venues and attractions that include the Nashville Zoo and Metro Riverfront Park. Residents are just a short drive from Cumberland Lanes, about a 12-minute walk for residents of the community, and a 20-minute drive to the Four Corners Recreation Center and Hurricane Creek Recreation Center.

Antioch Shopping Center and Hickory Hollow Mall Shopping Center are convenient for shopping and less than two miles from the neighborhood. Less than three miles and a 10-minute drive from Apache Hills are the Hickory Plaza Shopping Center and Fairlane Shopping Center, providing an assortment of retail venues.

The Southern Hills Medical Center, a full-service facility dedicated to advanced wound care along with rehabilitation, imaging and orthopedic services as well as a heart and sleep center, serves Apache Hills and the surrounding areas.

Apache Hills is only an 18-minute drive via Interstate 24 from downtown Nashville and its many attractions, riverfront, and historic district.

The Metro Riverfront Park, located on the east and west bank, has a variety of interesting things to see and do from a stroll along the City Wharf and Woodland Bridge Walk to the Adventure Play Park and the Lower Nabrico Gardens. Relax at the Urban Gardens or observe the activity of the river at one of the overlooks along the Esplanade. The park is approximately 10 miles from the Apache Hills neighborhood.
