Pelham Mill Park is a historic park containing the first textile mill in Greenville County as well as trails, picnic areas, and a dog park. The 240-acre Pleasant Ridge Park includes a campground, a walking trail, a fishing lake, cabins, and a playground.

Greenville County includes the cities of Simpsonville, Mauldin, and Travelers Rest and parts of the cities Fountain Inn and Greer. Other communities include Five Forks, Berea, Gantt, Judson, Taylors, Tigerville, Ware Place, and Parker.
