Grove Park, located in Columbia, South Carolina, is an upscale residential community that caters to young professionals who value privacy and relaxation with Southern charm.

The cozy Florence County subdivision of just over 200 residents is home to Revell Park, a private area that includes an athletic field and an area shaded by large pines and majestic Southern Oak trees. Homes along portions of Ascot Drive and West Andover Road boast views of Revell Park.

Area homes are a mixture of ranch-style and two story homes built on large, private lots. The quiet streets are lined with Palmetto Palms and tall, Southern Pines. Many well-landscaped homes sit on oversized lots with circular driveways. These three, four, and five bedroom homes are primarily owner-occupied, but some homes are available for rental.

Grove Park is just a short drive to Two Notch Road and Interstate 95, giving residents to downtown Columbia’s many shopping, nightlife, and entertainment options. Visitors can bask in the city’s rich history, including the Columbia museum of Art and the South Carolina State Museum.

For residents who prefer to shop locally, the Magnolia Mall on 2701 David McLeod Boulevard in Florence is less than six miles away. Big box retailers include Sears, Best Buy, Dick’s Sporting Goods, J.C. Penny, and Belk.

Most of the homes in Grove Park were built in the 1950s and 1960s, yet the well-maintained, upscale neighborhood still hasn’t lost a bit of its charm.
