Wilson Hill is a neighborhood in Columbus, roughly 20 minutes north of the downtown area. The community is convenient to several major area roadways. State Highway 315 and U.S. Highway 23 run north/south to the west, Interstate 270 runs east-to-west to the north, Interstate 71 runs north/south to the east, and State Highway 161 runs east-to-west to the south. State Highway 710 also traverses the area. Wilson Hill is situated in the 43085 ZIP code area, within Franklin County.

In addition to easy access to major area roadways, Wilson Hill residents also enjoy proximity to a variety of area amenities. A community park by the same name can be found within neighborhood boundaries. Wilson Hill Park has five tennis courts, a playground, and a walking path. A larger expanse of parkland is situated within a mile to the southwest, consisting of Antrim Park, Run Rush Park, Olentangy Park, Delawands Park, and Beechwold Park. Much of this parkland is undeveloped, but there are some some playing fields, tennis courts, and hiking/biking paths situated among the trees. Large city parks within a few miles to the north of Wilson Hill include Sharon Woods Metropolitan Park and Highbanks Metropark.

Golfing is also a popular activity near this community, with three golf clubs located within just a short drive. Brookside Country Club is directly to the west, on the other side of the highway. To the northwest are Worthington Hills Country Club and York Temple Country Club. These private clubs provide Wilson Hills residents with three 18-hole courses and a variety of expected amenities like clubhouses, swimming facilities, tennis courts, and fitness complexes.

A handful of retail centers are in the vicinity as well, including Worthington Square Shopping Center and The Continent Shopping Center. Also within a few miles west of Wilson Hill is the Ohio State University Airport.
