As the oldest university in the country, Harvard has produced some of the world’s most influential leaders, doctors, lawyers, writers, actors, and musicians. The first US President to graduate from Harvard was John Adams in 1755. Since then, five other Presidents have earned Harvard degrees, including the most recent, Barack Obama, who received his degree in 1991.

Other famous Harvard graduates include W.E.B Du Bois, John Updike, T.S. Eliot, Leonard Bernstein, Yo-Yo Ma, and Jack Lemmon. World leaders from Mexico, Colombia, Bolivia, China, and Chile have also earned Harvard degrees.

Harvard is located in Cambridge, Massachusetts and a few schools are located in neighboring Boston. Cambridge is a gorgeous city that was settled in 1630.
