Wayneridge is a small neighborhood made up of only two roads, Wayne Street and Highview Court. The neighborhood is a multiple family dwelling community with several large buildings housing a wide assortment of people. The area is quite scenic with Lake Johnson and the surrounding forest making up the most of the area around Wayneridge.
Lake Johnson is one of the largest lakes in the immediate area and part of Lake Johnson Park. Less than a mile from the neighborhood is Crossroads Plaza which is where numerous major retailers can be found such as Best Buy, Dick’s Sporting Goods, and Marshalls. The area is also a major destination for dining with dozens of restaurants including quick service, cafes, and sit down options making it a great place to eat regardless of the reason or time requirement. There is also a 20 screen movie theater by Regal Cinemas that shows many of the newest releases.
For those working downtown, Interstate 40 and Interstate 440 intersect only a quarter mile away from Wayneridge allowing for quick access to some major attractions and employment opportunities.
