The Brooks at Maybrook Crossings neighborhood is located off South New Hope Road in Raleigh, North Carolina. It is in the 27610 zip code area of Wake County. Neighborhood roads include Ridge Drive, Crescent Forest Drive, Pebble Ridge Drive, and Brown Owl Drive. The outlet to the neighborhood is Maybrook Crossing Drive.

The tidy and attractive neighborhood consists of small and compact 2 story homes with garages. A few tiny cottages are also scattered among the larger homes. Homes on Brown Owl Drive are slightly larger than the rest of the neighborhood and feature two car garages. Front yards are especially small. Backyards are larger and many are fenced. Houses tend to be close together. Few large trees are located in the tiny front yards, but some homes have nice shade trees in the backyards. Sidewalks are available on one side of each road. Tall stands of trees ring the neighborhood.

Several highways are accessible from the Brooks at Maybrook Crossing area. Intrastate 64/264, I-40, and I-440 make travel around the Raleigh-Durham area easy. Most sections of the city are within minutes of the neighborhood.

The Time Warner Cable Music Pavilion at Walnut Creek is a prominent area landmark. The large 77 acre complex is located on the west bank of Walnut Creek. The facility features an outdoor amphitheater that can host large concerts. Many popular artists have held concerts there including the Avett Brothers, Sugarland, and Jimmy Buffet.

Another neighborhood landmark is Anderson Point Park which offers a wide variety of activities. The park has a boat launch and fishing. There are also 4 miles of walking trails with scenic overlooks. Picnic shelters and playgrounds are also available. Additionally, the park provides many educational programs and hosts special events in its amphitheater. It is a favorite neighborhood recreation area.
