Dillard Apartments for Rent

Dillard is a very small, established, and pleasant community consisting of a few single-family homes. The neighborhood is located on a segment of Dillard Drive between Jones Franklin Road and Orabelle Court. All the homes have good-sized lawns complete with pines, oaks, and a variety of traditional southern foliage. Just outside of the Dillard neighborhood are many more well-managed communities with a variety of residential options. The majority of the properties close to Dillard are newly built apartments, town homes, and condos.

For those lucky enough to live in the Dillard community or one of the nearby neighborhoods, Dillard Drive Middle School and Elementary School are within a short walking distance. The schools are just on the other side of Orabelle Court and also easily accessed from Tryon Road and Avent Ferry Road.

Dillard residents have a wide variety of entertainment options. Lake Johnson, with a number of nature trails, is a short drive from the neighborhood. The trails are great for hiking and biking, and there are plenty of picnic spots. Lake Johnson Park is very dog-friendly and a great place to take the youngsters camping. Residents can also take the family to nearby MacNair’s Country Acres for horseback riding lessons.

Western Dillard Drive intersects with busy Walnut Street in Cary. The South Hills Shopping Center, Crossroads Plaza, Cary Town Center Mall, and many casual dining restaurants are very close to the neighborhood. Crossroads Cinema, the first megaplex theater in the Triangle, is also only a short drive away. Interstate 40 and the 440 Beltline are just a short distance outside the neighborhood. This convenient highway access makes Triangle areas such as Durham, downtown Raleigh, and Research Triangle Park a short commute.
