The Deblyn Park community can be found in western Raleigh’s Wake County. It is bordered by Pleasant Valley Road on the north, and Timber Creek Lane to the east. The southern boundary is covered by a part of Shamrock Drive, while Deblyn Avenue makes up the western border. Homes in these neighborhoods begin in the mid $100,000s and can increase to more than $500,000, depending on the number of rooms and other features. There are also several apartment complexes available in and around the neighborhoods, with rent starting at around $650. Public transit service is available in the area; however, most residents have at least one car per household.

Educational and cultural events and activities are plentiful in and around the community. The North Carolina Museum of Natural Sciences is located a few miles away in the downtown Raleigh area, as is the state capitol building where tours are held several times per day. Residents can also visit historic Downtown Raleigh. Closer to home, there is the North Raleigh Arts and Creative Theatre, a non-profit community theater which offers performing arts lessons to children aged five and older. The Museum of Life and Science, offers children and adults hands-on education about aerospace, weather and geology, Carolina wildlife, and farming.

Several parks are located around the neighborhood, providing residents with walking paths and children of all ages with playgrounds. There are also a number of educational and interesting classes available in the community, including Salsa lessons for both babies and toddlers, cooking classes to improve nutrition in the home, and a farm where children and adults can enjoy guided trail rides or take western-style riding lessons on horses that are suited for either beginning riders or the more experienced. The farm also hosts birthday parties, summer camps, camping trips, corporate outings and even weddings.
