Abundant education options aren’t the only attractions of the Tolbert community. Close proximity to the downtown area means that cultural attractions abound near this neighborhood as well. Close to home are the Sebastian Medical Museum and the Vance H. Chavis Life Long Library.

Closer to the downtown area are a variety of additional museums, including the International Civil Rights Center & Museum and The Greensboro Children’s Museum. Other downtown attractions include Greensboro City Hall, the Carolina Theatre, and Center City Park. There are also a variety of shops, pubs, and dining options near the downtown area and University District, all within walking distance of Tolbert.

Health care options close to home include the Kindred Hospital – Greensboro to the south and the Moses H. Cone Memorial Hospital to the northwest.
