For more shopping and dining, residents of the Wilmore community travel to the downtown area, which is home to two big shopping centers. EpiCentre offers entertainment, shopping, and dining. Founders Hall is similar to EpiCentre, but its attractions are primarily shopping and dining. Both of these shopping centers offer a wide variety of restaurants and retailers, however.

The downtown area is also where Wilmore residents go to have a good time. It is home to both the Panthers and the Bobcats, making it a great place to see either a professional football or basketball game. There are also many museums and tours in the downtown area. Both historical and ghost tours are available via various modes of transportation.
