Located south of Dilworth in Charlotte North Carolina, Sedgefield is a large, popular neighborhood with shady, mature trees along quiet streets. Sedgefield is located between Park Road and South Boulevard and is served by the Lynx Light Rail System’s Blue Line. Sedgefield is about two miles south of downtown Charlotte.
Revolution Park Golf Course, a public golf course built in 1923, is located two miles northeast. Freedom Park is east of Sedgefield and is considered the main park in Charlotte. This 98-acre park contains a 7-acre lake, ball fields, tennis and volleyball courts, and paved trails. The Charlotte Nature Museum, a science museum with hands-on interactive exhibits, is also located in Freedom Park.
