In 1926, the clubhouse was designated as an Asheville Local Historic Landmark.
The Preservation Society of Asheville and Buncombe County is located on Charlotte Street. The Asheville Historic Trolley is available for a tour of the area, including Charlotte Street. Much of the area has been preserved to provide a romantic old town setting.
