An important location during the American Revolution, Mount Holly is a beautiful area with a long, rich history. The County Courthouse was constructed in 1796. The County Prison, built in 1810, is now a museum.

The largest community in Burlington County is Evesham Township. Settled in 1672 by Quakers, Evesham was one of the thirteen Burlington County townships formed in 1692. A lovely historic town, Evesham contains the Indian Spring Country Club, home to an 18-hole public golf course and a practice area.
