Sherrydale is a neighborhood on the north side of Kansas City, Missouri, less than 20 minutes from the heart of the downtown area. This conveniently located community is bound by Northwest 95th Terrace on the north, Northwest Barry Road on the south, Arrowhead Trafficway/US Highway 169 on the west, and North Oak Trafficway on the east. It is traversed from west to east by State Highway 152. Encompassing the 64155 zip code area, this community is part of Clay County.

Much of Sherrydale is residential, including single-family homes near the community’s center and apartment and townhome living in the community’s northeast corner. Some commercial offerings can also be found here, especially along the southern border.

Schools near Sherrydale include Oak Park High School on Northeast 79th Terrace. Maple Woods Community College is also less than one mile east of this community.

One of the more prominent features of the Sherrydale community is its proximity to golfing options. Tiffany Greens Golf Club and Staley Farms Golf Club are within a few miles northwest and northeast, respectively. Opened in 1999, the former has been ranked among the top 10 courses in the state by Golf Digest. In addition to a championship, 18-hole, par-72 course, this golf club also offers two practice putting greens, a short game area, driving range, and clubhouse with pro shop and dining options.

Another option for outdoor recreation in the area is Platte Purchase Park. Located a few miles to the north of Sherrydale, this park is devoted entirely to baseball and softball fields, home of the Clay-Platte Baseball League.

Additional attractions can be found within five miles west of Sherrydale, near Interstate 29. These include the Edgewood Shopping Center and St. Luke’s Northland Hospital.
