Students can stay close to home at Park Forest’s three schools, which accept students from kindergarten through high school graduation into one of the top school districts in the state. Prairie Point Elementary School has been encouraging students to follow the school’s vision and “build their life as if it were a work of art,” since 1997. At Congress Middle School, seventh and eighth graders are welcomed into the school’s distinguished classrooms, and can participate in a variety of extra-curricular activities including the arts, athletics, and a school newspaper. Park Hill High School, which has been named to Newsweek’s list of America’s best high schools each year between 2006 and 2010, enrolls more than 1600 students.
