Just south of the university, off Oak Street, is the Toy and Miniature Museum. This museum is quite popular, especially with younger girls. It showcases a lot of different collections but is best known for its miniatures, popular with many girls who are involved in the creation of doll houses.
Also in the area is the Linda Hall Library, off Cherry Street. The library offers thousands of books, magazines, journals, and more to Citadel residents. It also has computers with Internet access. Children enjoy taking advantage of the library’s many book reading events.
